Picnic Korean Restaurant | Review | Menu/ Price | Thamel, Kathmandu |

Hello Sathiz~

Today I've come with another review on korean restaurant called Picnic located in Thamel.

I used to live in korea and was so excited to eat korean foods as I haven't eaten them after coming to Nepal. So, we (family) went there for dinner yesterday.

๐Ÿ“ABOUT RESTAURANT

There are two buildings. One small on the left side and another big building on the right side. Restaurant seemed really clean and simple. We can sit on the chair or on the floor as per our wish. We sat on the floor as we thought it would be more comfortbale.

They don't serve water. If needed we had to buy one bottle of water at Rs. 100. Also, kimchi isn't always available. It depends on the season. If it's not available, in place of kimchi, they serve you kaktuki, which is also kimchi but in radish form.

Among them, for me kimbab was the one which had the most similar to the taste of Korea. But, I don't know why they serve it with ganjang ( soya sauce) .

B. B. Q sets weren't bad.

Honestly, I had too much expectation on it because every food blogger used to post this with some positive reviews. But I didn't find any original taste of Rabboki, instead there was no taste except some spicy.

MENU

Items I suggest are pork B. B. Q set and kimbab (any).

(Some small suggestion can be, order bowl of rice per person to enjoy dish and take water with you)

Eventhough they don't serve you water, they give raddish soup per person at last and that was impressing. However, it didn't taste good.

๐Ÿ“ธ PHOTOAREA a

There's no special photoarea. There's a mirror in stair but not so good for photo. However, if you are willing to sit on the floor, lightening supports.

๐Ÿ“LOCATION | PARKING

From there you can follow the direction in the map below:

Go straight and turn on right side and keep going till you reach to garden of dreams. Then, turn on right again and keep going straight. Ignore the one, take turning on the second time and if you think ' eta hora? Haina jaso cha' then you are there๐Ÿ˜‚.

๐Ÿ“Parking is available for 2wheelers and 4wheelers.
